Easy Connection and Quick Integration

APM2 comes with a necessary demonstration firmware, so you can use it in your audio systems directly with no need of programming. A 2 x in, 3 x out Interface extension board – APM3 is provided for easy audio connection, which offers multiple kinds of interfaces, including RCA jack, 3.5mm AUX IN jack and PH-4Pos line input connector. After connection with APM3, APM2 can be easily integrated into any projects, such as Kiosk, Speaker Equalization, Active Crossovers, Digital Car Audio System, Home Theater, Karaoke, Musical Instruments and so on. APM2 and APM3 are both in 2’’ x 2’’ compact size, making them simple to be installed in any cabinet without occupation of too much space to leave enough headroom for other components.

High Performance ADAU1701

The on board fully programmable 28-/56-bit audio DSP ADAU1701 from Analog device is competent in various signal processing applications. This process can compensate for real-world limitations of speakers, amplifiers, and listening environments, providing dramatic improvements in perceived audio quality.

Four potentiometers are provided on APM2 for real time hardware control of the whole audio system for volume, gain and cut-off frequency setting.

Supporting SigmaStudio Program and Remote Control

Different applications have unlike requirements on audio as the speakers, the environment and the preference are different. To give customers better control of audio systems, Sure Electronics has released In-circuit programmers (ICP series), with connection of which, you can program DSP with SigmaStudio or remote control the system with APP or PC UI.

We have developed an APP – Miumax for remote control, with which, you can adjust volume, gain, frequency and EQ setting. PC UI is also available for different applications as digital crossover, bass enhancement, subwoofer, and so on.

Sure Electronics has provided open-sourced files for customers to start the project quickly. Please refer to the in the “Download” part.

Hi, is it possible to link two AA-AP23122 and control them in sigma studio in one project simultaneously (master-slave?), I need 5 outputs for one system :( and is it possible to recall different created presets via (IR) remote control, a switch or your APP?

Hi, Jack. Thank you for your interest in our products. You can add a DAC to APM2 to get 5 x outputs. We are developing new APM products which can provide multi-channel outputs. Please stay tuned. You can control the APM2 with APP after connection with ICP3, through which, you can adjust the volume, gain, frequency settings and EQ. Here is the video for your reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wOcJUeXEUY Please kindly note that there are no presets in the APP. Power-off memory function is equipped in ICP3, so ICP3 can save your last adjustments.

Hi there, Would the Dsp apm2 blow up when fed with a signal from an amplifier? How is it possible to use all 4 outputs of the apm2? Are there special cables going from the board to RCA or similar? And I don’t mean the Apm3.

Hi, Paul. Thank you for your interest in our products. Please kindly be noted that the maximum audio input voltage for APM2 is 1Vrms. If you want to use all 4 output of the APM2, you can lead out the "OUTL1", "OUTL2", "OUTR1" and "OUTR2" of J1 on APM2. The cables need to be customized and there would be MOQ. Wish this could help you.

Hello. If I understand the product correctly, there are 2 input channels and 3 output channels. According to the datasheet, the ADAU1701 has 4 output channels. Is it at all possible to use the 4th output channel on this board?

Hello, geppa. Thank you for your interest in our products. Please kindly be noted that the APM3 is a 2-in, 3-out interface board. It provides RCA, 3.5mm headphone and line output ports. But they cannot be used at the same time. Wish this could help you.

what is the name of connector J3 and J4?

Hi, baptiste. Thank you for your interest in our products. The connector used in J3 and J4 is low-profile polarized 20pos-2.54mm header. Wish this could help you.

The device hast 4 Outputs. What are the differences between the one near the input and the others?

Hi, Uwe. Do you mean the difference between the 3.5mm output and RCA output of APM3 (INTERFACE EXTENSION KIT)? They are both for audio output and they are parallel connected. Please do not use them at the same time. Wish this could help you. Any question, please feel free to contact us.

Does a 6pin come with it?

Hi, Kenneth. Thank you for your interest in our product. Please kindly be noticed that there is no cable in the package of APM2. The 6pin cable is in the package of the ICP products (Programming boards) and the 10pin cable is sent with APM3 (Interface extension board). Wish this could help you.

Hi, the output on pins 5 to 8 (J1 connector) is the same on pins 10 to 16 ( J3 connector) ?

Hi, thank you for your interest in our products. Please kindly be noticed that there is a difference between the "OUTL2, OUTR2, OUTL1, OUTR1" of J1 connector and the "OR1, OL1, OR2 OL2" of J3 connector. The pin of J1 is connected with coupling capacitors in series but the pin of J3 is not. Wish this could help you.

Hi, how meny hz is the crossover

Hi, helge. Sorry for the late reply. The preset frequency range of DSP is as follows and you can adjust within the range through the potentiometers on the board or the APP with our ICP3. High-pass Filter: 250Hz-2kHz Band-pass Filter: 60Hz-120Hz(High-pass); 200Hz-400Hz(Low-pass) If you program through SigmaStudio, you can adjust the cut-off frequency to your speakers' condition and your requirements within 20Hz-20kHz. Please be noticed that once the program you write is uploaded to the DSP, original program will be covered.
