Description

The APM series is a complete, audio system with control interfaces and signal processing. The application range from active louderspeaker concepts (digital 3 way 3 unit, 2 way 2 unit crossover, bass enhancement, etc.) and realize the tansformation from 2.0 to 2.1. With four potentiometers, customers can get the default function and adjust the gain, cut-off frequency of bass and treble.

With integrated debug port for Sigima Studio, customers can pre-program with Sure Electronics ICP1, ICP2 or the original Analog USBi to get more functions which includes equalization, crossover, bass enhancement, multiband dynamics

processing, delay compensation, etc.

The device hast 4 Outputs. What are the differences between the one near the input and the others?

Hi, Uwe. Do you mean the difference between the 3.5mm output and RCA output of APM3 (INTERFACE EXTENSION KIT)? They are both for audio output and they are parallel connected. Please do not use them at the same time. Wish this could help you. Any question, please feel free to contact us.

Does a 6pin come with it?

Hi, Kenneth. Thank you for your interest in our product. Please kindly be noticed that there is no cable in the package of APM2. The 6pin cable is in the package of the ICP products (Programming boards) and the 10pin cable is sent with APM3 (Interface extension board). Wish this could help you.

Hi, the output on pins 5 to 8 (J1 connector) is the same on pins 10 to 16 ( J3 connector) ?

Hi, thank you for your interest in our products. Please kindly be noticed that there is a difference between the "OUTL2, OUTR2, OUTL1, OUTR1" of J1 connector and the "OR1, OL1, OR2 OL2" of J3 connector. The pin of J1 is connected with coupling capacitors in series but the pin of J3 is not. Wish this could help you.

Hi, how meny hz is the crossover

Hi, helge. Sorry for the late reply. The preset frequency range of DSP is as follows and you can adjust within the range through the potentiometers on the board or the APP with our ICP3. High-pass Filter: 250Hz-2kHz Band-pass Filter: 60Hz-120Hz(High-pass); 200Hz-400Hz(Low-pass) If you program through SigmaStudio, you can adjust the cut-off frequency to your speakers' condition and your requirements within 20Hz-20kHz. Please be noticed that once the program you write is uploaded to the DSP, original program will be covered.

Is there a way to purchase the extension kit and 10 pin connector? I have this board but need the extension kit. The board I ordered that I thought was the extension was and audio control board.

Dear Anton, Sorry for the late reply. J1 of the DSP is used to connect with the Extension Kit. We do not suggest that you use it for other use.
